Ugly critter and nasty looking teeth. Then we live-trapped one when we were trying to catch a rouge raccoon. The possum just curled up in the cage and took a nap. He was released unharmed. Sure didn't know they were related to kangaroos and koalas, not nearly as attractive.TravelingLongdogshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07562207397650862936noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2050287180076649026.post-22577893316338971702012-08-15T19:47:19.145-05:002012-08-15T19:47:19.145-05:00ughhhh. . .we once had one of those ugly things in...ughhhh. . .we once had one of those ugly things in our backyard. . .it got into the birdseed and made a horrible, horrible mess. . .and left blessings all over the place. . .yuck!

Can you believe it's actually a marsupial. . .which means it's in the same family as the kangaroo and the koala. . .not nearly as entertaining though!

http://animals.about.com/od/marsupials/a/marsupial-facts.htmJanice Williford Evanshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07322596945199192769noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2050287180076649026.post-69770892587823562772012-08-15T19:26:59.376-05:002012-08-15T19:26:59.376-05:00Yup.. them are one big mousies! They broke that turning vent thing on the roof (brain disengaged at the moment) & got into our attic! Had to trap them in a humane trap & would take them for a long car ride, out in the country to release!
