A Wild Wednesday Night at the 11th Street Cowboy Bar

Before the sun began to set, we loaded up in the available cars and headed into Bandera for steak night at the 11th Street Cowboy Bar.  They have Steak Night every Wednesday night.  You bring your own meat (it doesn't have to be steak).  They provide a baked potato, salad, and roll set-up for $6.  It looks small from the front but most of the bar is actually outside and it is a very large area capable of handling a big crowd.

Yes, it was cold Wednesday night.  There is a huge fire pit and numerous heat posts but it was still pretty chilly.

Sharon was hoping for some heat from the heat post behind her.

There are several bars to get drinks and lots of tables with stools.

The bar provides big grills, lots of seasonings, and the tools to do the grilling.

Lots of good food at our tables.

Did I mention it was cold?????

There was a good band.  They have a couple of outdoor stages and a dance floor in front of the big stage.  Even families come out to the bar for Steak Night.

  1. I like the idea of cooking your own meat so you get it the way you like it. I don't care for the cold but dancing should warm you up a bit.

  3. I sure wish I had been able to come on Wednesday. This looks like it was a whole lotta fun, even if it was cold. I am glad it warmed up by Thursday.
