The scenery was spectacular. Oak Creek Canyon is sometimes referred to as a smaller Grand Canyon.
The Oak Creek Canyon Vista pull off not only provided fantastic natural views but a chance to admire and purchase handmade Indian jewelry and other items.
Once we reached Sedona, we stopped at the Oaxaca restaurant for lunch. Barb and Cat arrived early and reserved tables for us which was good because the restaurant had a waiting list.
The views from the restaurant were also spectacular.
This is the famous Snoopy rock. Can you see him laying on his back?
Views of downtown Sedona from the restaurant roof top.
We found numerous decorated statues around town.
Can you see Lucy's head?
After lunch, the group split into smaller groups. Diana, Sue, and I went to Tlaquepaque to look around. It's a very unique shopping mall which looks very old and has beautiful artwork.
We enjoyed the beautiful sculptures.
Another great day and we still got to drive back through the scenic canyon.
