Heritage Park of North Iowa....A Great Place to Visit

The Heritage Park of North Iowa is a 91 acre site located on the south edge of Forest City Iowa. Their goal is to preserve the heritage of this area, educate and entertain, and promote tourism for the area.

They have steam engines both large and small as well as prairie tractors and other equipment. They have regular events at the park such as the 34th Annual Steam Threshing Festival and Rumely Expo which will be held 14-17 September. People come from all over for this event.

Beaver Creek Church is a typical Scandinavian church built in 1890.

Typical Iowa schoolhouse from 100 years ago.

Timberland Museum contains the largest Indian artifact exhibit in Iowa and perhaps the country.
