It has actually built up quite a bit since the last time I drove along Copano bay. There are large houses with lots of land as well as subdivisions. These figures were at each side of the gate of one of the large places so we had to stop for a picture.
There is a nice park right along the bay. Yes, they were not kidding about the gators so keep your eye open if you use the beach.
Back at the park, Olivia said she was fixing dinner for the four of us. Olivia loves to cook and she is really good at it. She cooks regular meals every day in her RV. She decided to cook dinner in the Club kitchen since her dog Parka gets real excited about company for dinner in the RV, lol. The clubhouse has a great kitchen with several stoves, several refrigerators, and a big freezer. Anyone at the park can use the kitchen as long as they clean up after themselves.
Andie made a tasty salad to go with it.
There was a karaoke gathering going on in the big room next to use. Everybody was checking out our dinner because they all know what a great cook Olivia is. Wilderness Oaks has a really active schedule this winter with most of the activities put on by the winter Texans with support from the park staff.
We had music serenading us from the other room while we played Rummikub. Most of the karaoke singers were very good.
And then there was an apple tart for dessert. It was absolutely delicious. We couldn't have asked for a better time than we had during this part of our trip. Tomorrow, on to Goliad State Park for the Texas Ramblin' Roses Rally.
Fun times!
