Carolyn and I fixed a very nice breakfast before we headed off to the rally meeting in the dining hall. New members stayed for an orientation but many of us headed downtown for the Goliad Market Days. Vicki and Barbara, our hosts for the rally, always check out what weekend the Market Days are scheduled before they pick a date for the rally. They have been hosting a TRR February rally in Goliad for a number of years. The weather has been great this year. We are not always that lucky but we have an inside place to gather so it works out.
Market Days are very popular. The booths completely surround the courthouse square.
You will find a wide variety of crafts and other items for sale.
The gentleman with this booth makes the wine but does not have a vineyard. There were samples.
Take a close look at this T-Shirt. It isn't what you would expect.
This is the courhouse square so you can expect to find a little history.
There were some food trailers around.
We will see a lot more about this Texas history this weekend.
This is the infamous Hanging Tree. Basically they held court right here and carried out sentences without delay.

The word got passed that everyone was meeting here at the Commercial St Bar.
Yes, there is a healthy crowd of our members here relaxing after shopping.
