Traveling with the Longdogs: 2025-8-14 Everybody is Somebody in Luckenbach TX

Thursday morning found us heading towards Fredericksburg after breakfast at our RVs. We planned our route so we would go one way and come back another way. Our first stop was Luckenbach.

This very nice bathroom building is new since the last time I was in Luckebach.

This is the post office/store. A very popular place to have your picture taken on the bench out front. We helped out several couples.

This is new since my last visit too but I'm not sure what it is used for.

This is obviously not what they use for the money these days.

This is the dance hall.

I thought this building was new but the post office/store cashier told me that it was always there but inconspicuous because it was just used for storage. Now they added a porch and it is another store.

Keep in mind that we were there pretty early on a weekday morning. Weekday afternoons they have music and weekends are really hopping.

So many photo opportunities and Carolyn's phone is always snapping pictures. I drive, she takes the photos when we manage to travel together.

Carolyn couldn't pass up the Kissing Booth. Earlier there was a gentleman sitting close by at a picnic table in the shade. Carolyn asked him "if he was taking a break"? Made his day I am sure. A bit later we met his wife in the restroom. We all started laughing.
