The Big "70"!

Life is a long and eventful journey if you are lucky. It's always nice to celebrate with family and friends. Dave's brother Jim and wife Elaine came down from Abilene to surprise Dave. And was he surprised when he opened the front door.

Everyone gets to wear the birthday hat on their birthday and Dave was a good sport. We also have a birthday plate with Ronald McDonald on it.....family heirlooms, lol.

Believe it or not, this is a neck scarf used by motorcyclists and other outdoor enthusiasts. Dave was demonstrating how you can use it as a hat if you are out riding and forget to bring a hat to wear when you take the helmet off.

Dave is strictly a chocolate cake, chocolate frosting kind of guy.

This is one 70 year old who doesn't look it or act it!   Happy Birthday Dave!
